This Stage 4 unit is designed to give students a deep understanding of concepts in the periodic table and atomic structure focus area.

This unit introduces students to the periodic table as a tool to support their learning in science.
Students learn to extract and interpret information from the periodic table, including atomic number, standard atomic weight and element symbols.
