Stage 5 – LFH – 2-3 hours – Students will explore energy transfer through different mediums using wave and particle models.

Calculating the speed of light using a microwave

Stage 5 – LFH – 2-3 hours – Students will use a microwave to analyse microwave electromagnetic radiation.

States of matter

Stage 4 – LFH – 4 hours – Develop an understanding of the properties of solids, liquids and gases.
