In the sample unit ‘Architextures’, students investigate how artists use the world as a source of ideas and subject matter to represent meaning in artworks. They explore the practices of artists who represent built environments, and conduct a site investigation to gather source material for their own art making. Through process of experimentation and processing, they create an artwork that communicates their experience of the world to audiences.
This unit is accompanied by a sample assessment task and student-facing slide presentation.
