Do you know a student thinking about getting their driver licence?

Getting a driver licence is an important step in accessing education, employment and health services, as well as connecting with your mob and Country.

Learning to drive is the responsibility of parents and carers.

Teaching students to drive is not a requirement in NSW high schools and is not included in the NSW PDHPE 7–10 syllabus or the Stage 6 Life Ready course. However, schools can play a supportive role by helping students find accurate information to get started on their learning-to-drive journey.

Schools can help support students in obtaining their driver's licence by providing this link or downloading the flyer below.
