Transport for NSW has developed Safety Town, an engaging online resource designed to support teaching and learning about road safety. It’s suitable for use in the classroom and at home, making it a valuable tool for schools to share with families.

Safety Town covers key areas of road safety, including:

• Pedestrian safety
• Passenger safety
• Wheels safety
• Bus safety

The resource features interactive activities, videos, storybooks, and practical teaching and learning materials, along with up-to-date information for teachers, students and families.

Schools are encouraged to explore the families section and share it with their communities to support children in developing the knowledge and skills they need to be safe road users.
