A Professional Experience Hub (PEX Hub) is a centre of excellence for professional experience.
In collaboration with its university partner(s), a PEX Hub:
- advocates for professional experience being a shared responsibility for preparing future teachers that benefits teachers, schools and the system as a whole
- provides consistent high quality professional experiences for all preservice teachers, supervising teachers and initial teacher education providers in our sphere of influence
- leads collaborative school-based evaluative practices to inform innovation in professional experience
- shares knowledge and supports a network of schools to strengthen the quality of professional experience
- focuses on strengthening and supporting subject matter expertise in the designated area of workforce need.
